ANALISIS FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI KURANGNYA MINAT BELAJAR MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS IV MI TARBIYATUL ISLAMIYAH DIDESA WINONG

Abstract


The lack of interest in learning mathematics experienced by fourth grade students of MI Tarbiyatul Islamiyah creates a situation where studentswill be lazy about learning mathematics which result in low learning outcomes. This study aims to determine the aspects of studens interest in learning and the factors that influence the lack of interestin learning mathematics for fourth grade students of MI Tarbiyatul Islamiyah in Winong Village. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. The data in this study were obtained from fourth grade students of MI Tarbiyatul Islamiyah and Fourth grade Guardians. Data collection techniques in this study include observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis used is data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion/verificaton. The result of this study indicate that (1) the lack of interest in learning of fourth grade student of MI Tarbiyatul Islamiyah.,namely students do not like learning mathematics, students are less interested in learning mathematics, lack of student attention to learning mathematics, student involvement in learning mathematics is less which results in learning outcomes,low.(2) the factors that influence students’ interest in learning mathematics in class IV MI Tarbiyatul Islamiyah are internal factors and external factors. Internal factors include the attitude of students not paying attention, students’ interest in learning mathematics is still low, motivation to learn mathematics is still low. While external factors include the use of less creative mathematics learning media, less conducive homeconditions so that learning activities are not comfortable
