ANALISIS KEBUTUHAN BAHAN AJAR ELEKTRONIK DITINJAU DARI KEMAMPUAN KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH MATEMATIS SISWA

Abstract


Problem solving ability is a skill in performing a systematic operation procedure sequence of actions. This ability has an important role in learning mathematics because it has skills in solving problems so that it can be applied in everyday life. Thus, teaching materials that have not accommodated these abilities need to be developed. In the current era, teaching materials can be packaged in electronic form. For this reason, this study aims to determine the analysis of the needs of electronic teaching materials in terms of the ability to solve mathematical problems. This type of research is development research in the first stage, namely analysis. The subjects of this study were seventh grade students at SMP Negeri 3 Kalasan, Sleman, Yogyakarta. The instruments used in the study were observation, interviews, preliminary questionnaire studies, and problem solving ability test questions. Data analysis in this study used the Miles and Huberman model consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that (1) students were less active when learning took place (2) as many as 20% of students still could not understand the questions given (3) as many as 44% of students had high problem-solving skills so they were able to complete the test properly and correctly. Therefore, electronic teaching materials to improve students' mathematical problem solving skills need to be developed. This research will still be continued at the design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages
