SLANTLET TRANSFORM (SLT) UNTUK WATERMARKING GAMBAR DIGITAL

Abstract


Teknik watermarking merupakan salah satu teknik untuk pelabelan data atau copyright protection. Melalui komputasi algoritma tertentu, watermarking dapat dilakukan pada mode yang tidak terdeteksi oleh mata manusia. Proses semacam ini disebut invisible watermarking. Algoritma sederhana dalam watermarking salah satunya yaitu Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT). Populer dan memenuhi aspek ketidaknampakan oleh mata manusia menjadi keunggulan DWT. Seiring berkembangnya penelitian mengenai watermarking, muncul algoritma yang merupakan improvisasi dari DWT, disebut dengan Slantlet Transform (SLT). Karakteristik operasi SLT mirip dengan DWT namun SLT lebih tahan serangan dan lebih cepat dibanding DWT. Di sisi lain masih belum banyak penelitian mengenai SLT. Berdasarkan literatur tersebut, dalam makalah ini kami akan mengevaluasi dan memberikan gambaran mengenai performa SLT pada gambar digital khususnya dalam format grayscale. Evaluasi telah kami lakukan dengan menghitung nilai Mean Square Error (MSE) dan Peak Signal to Noise Ratio (PSNR) yang dipilih karena jenis perhitungan ini sudah sering digunakan peneliti lain sehingga dapat dilakukan komparasi hasil. Dari olah data yang dilakukan, PSNR tertinggi mencapai 46.2084 dB.
