KERAGAMAN GENDER DEWAN, KEPEMILIKAN TERKONSENTRASI, DAN KINERJA PERUSAHAAN: PEMBUKTIAN DI ASEAN

Abstract


Tujuan dari makalah ini adalah untuk memperluas literatur dan pemahaman tentang ikataninteraktif yang menciptakan kinerja perusahaan melalui keragaman gender dewan dan konsentrasikepemilikan. Oleh karena itu, penelitian inimenguji pengaruh keragaman gender dewan dan konsentrasikepemilikan pada kinerja perusahaan dalam konteks negara berkembang. Penelitian inimenggunakan103 perusahaan dari negara-negara ASEAN, termasuk Indonesia, Malaysia, Filipina, dan Thailand. Datayang mewakili semua industri kecuali industri keuangan diperiksa dengan periode sepuluh tahunanggaran 2010-2019. Penelitian ini memeriksa data panel yang tidak seimbang dengan spesifikasi efektetap untuk model dasar. Hasil empiris menunjukkan bahwa kehadiran dan konsentrasi kepemilikanperempuan berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja perusahaan. Hal itu menunjukkan bahwa kehadiranperempuan dan kepemilikan terkonsentrasi lebih siap untuk mendisiplinkan dan memotivasi manajemendengan basis sumber daya mereka, sedangkan kepemilikan yang tersebar memperbesar masalahoportunisme manajerial di perusahaan.
