Practicing English Language Skills Through Fun Activities: Young EFL Learners on a 10-Day Holiday Program
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to determine how well young English as a Foreign Language (EFL) learners gain from a 10-day holiday program that includes enjoyable activities. Through stimulating activities, the program aimed to enhance the learners' English language proficiency. Twenty-five pupils, ages eight to seventeen, took part in the program, which featured role-playing, drill technique, games, and creative assignments. The findings revealed important developments in conversation, grammar, and vocabulary. The study comes to the conclusion that, especially for young learners, providing enjoyable activities can help EFL learners' language proficiency. According to the research, teachers can help young students learn languages more effectively and joyfully by implementing engaging activities.
